Best Western Plus Calgary Centre Inn

Checked in here at 2am after literally leaving the unacceptable Days Inn just down the road. Didn’t even realise there was a BW next to it... drove north up Macleod annoyed I’d have to find another hotel after just checking in and quitting the days in, saw the sign and AH, A BW! Oh the relief!! You know that feeling when you are looking for a brand or merchant that is your favourite go to and you like because they never let you down? That’s BW. Recently refitted and wow, it feels like a 4*! simply lovely. Frequent biz traveller, and yes, I notice small details. Staff nice, room I got was amazing. I’ve never had a ‘bad’ BW experience, some average and ‘fine’ but never bad. BW are consistently at least nice. Everything fantasic condition and classy, carpet, wallpaper, furniture, fixtures, bathroom, toiletries. I have no idea how they do it for the money! BW+ are like a flyweight that hits like a heavyweight - they outclass hotels with a half to 1* higher. An absolute oasis, quiet as a tomb, my room was cavernous, beds comfy, cosy. The pressures of corporate melted away in my room and could catch up on the paperwork with a lovely coffee from the lobby. I didn’t want to leave! Well done all round there. :)

We had to stay here during covid. The hotel is super clean and the staff was awesome!! Love that there is a coffee shop nearby because the coffee in the room is yucky! Need real cream lol

Accommodations were great for a nice quiet stay. The very tall man at the front desk was extremely kind, friendly, and courteous and made our stay very pleasant. Hats off to this fellow!

We were very pleased with our stay at Best Western Plus Calgary!! If you're looking for a nice hotel that's really close to the stampede grounds, Calgary Tower and all the amenities of downtown, then this is the perfect choice! We chose this hotel because I had an appointment at the Lifemark Sports Medicine Center and the hotel was less than 2 km away from there. The hotel isn't big, but it is really nice. Our check in experience was fantastic. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly gentleman. While we were checking in he offered us menus to several different restaurants that were close by and delivered for free. Thanks to him, we ended up having a fantastic meal delivered to our room from Singapore Sam's. If you like Asian cuisine, I highly recommend ordering from Singapore Sam's. Our room was lovely. It wasn't overly big, but the perfect size for 2 people. It was very clean and visually appealing. We upgraded to a king bed with a 2 person whirlpool tub. The whirlpool tub was definitely worth the upgrade!! Because of COVID restrictions the breakfast buffet was not available so we were offered a brown bag breakfast, which included a bottle of water, fruit and a pastry. We opted out of the brown bag breakfast and went to a restaurant instead. We went to Red's Diner downtown, which was only 2.3 km away from the hotel. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant!!!! They specialize in breakfast and WOW we were not disappointed! We have absolutely no complaints with our stay. The location was great, the room was beautiful and our meals were fantastic!
