Express Fitness - Scarborough

This gym is the best hands down. Equipment still in new condition and the place is clean. The staff are very helpful, and its never busy. There is a section for powerlifting and there are plenty of benches | equipment for everyone to use.

Terrible experience at this gym. I am actually looking forward to when this gym shuts down so they can finally stop charging me! I’ve been trying to cancel for over 2 months now. Express fitness enough is enough please respond to my numerous emails to CANCEL my membership or answer your phone! Below is the long story of my experience. Equipment and facility is nice however this gym will give you one rate and charge you another and will increase the amount at random points at their will. Oh and forget about cancelling your membership... they will not answer calls or return any calls or emails. I signed up with this gym for $27 on a month to month term and a few months later was charged $33. When I brought this up to the manager, apparently the person that had signed me up was committing fraud by signing people up for a lower price and that they are taking the individual to court. I said okay and left. Now fast forward 1 year later I'm being charged 55$ and being charged by the gym still after looking to cancel for 2 months now!! Beyond frustrated with this gym, they don't answer emails or phone calls. ***UPDATE: The gym's Manager Sam reached out after this review and mentioned they did not have anyone in during the pandemic to respond back. Sam did give me a credit back and made my cancellation process easy once she reached out. Overall, I have bumped up my rating to a 3 star because the facility is nice and they did eventually correct my billing situation.
